After months of speculations, Nissan has finally revealed the next generation – ‘Nissan Leaf’ electric car at a grand event in Tokyo.  The Nissan Leaf will go on sale in Japan on October 2, 2017, followed by the U.S. in early 2018, according to media reports.

Leaf pricing in the US starts at USD 29,990 (Rs 20 lakh approx) before incentives, which makes it cheaper than either the Bolt or the Model 3, according to media reports.

Design:

  • The car has an aerodynamic body styling, including a rear bumper with a clear-cut curve and aero-design wheels.
  • LEAF features sharp lines, a dynamic front end featuring a unique multi-dimensional translucent blue grille, and a signature “floating” roof.
