SSC CGL 2018 Tier I Exam Dates expected by first week of October on – sources confirm

Staff Selection Commission, SSC is expected to release the SSC CGL 2018 Tier I Exam Dates in the first week of October. As per the information received, sources have confirmed that the dates are expected to be announced soon now as the preliminary work is nearing completion. Though there is no official confirmation, sources suggested that the delay in the exam dates by SSC was due to the lack of examination centres. There was a fresh requisition filed for the same, which is now nearing completion.

SSC has not conducted any examination in the last four months. The last examination conducted by SSC was in the month of February and March when it conducted the SSC CGL Tier II 2017 examination. The dates for SSC CGL Tier I 2018 examination were later cancelled along with the exam dates for SSC JE. Similarly, the SSC GD Constable Exam 2018 notification was delayed and so was the notification for SSC Stenographer & JHT posts.

Given the latest information available on the official website as well as through various reports, the preliminary work of selecting the test centres is now complete. There was a fresh release of tender for vendors and the the pre-bidding order is now complete. Some have suggested that it was due to the recent series of events that were highlighted during various examinations.
