In order to have close vigil and check on the working and functioning of various Government institutions, the Tehsildar Dacchan made surprise visit of Primary Health Center Dacchan and found a doctor and 6 paramedicos absent from their legitimate duties.
The Tehsildar Dacchan raised the issue with the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana, who in turn, today ordered the suspension of the seven employees.
Those suspended include BMO Dacchan, Dr Anil Kumar Sharma and paramedicos Sajjad Hussain (Pharmacist), Lekh Raj (Health Educator), Mohammad Akbar (Health Educator), Geeta Devi (Senior Grade Nurse), Mohammad Irfan (Extension Educator) and Afroza Nabi (Junior Staff Nurse).
“Due to strike of NHM staff, the working and functioning of Health Institutions has suffered badly and the absence of permanent staff in the Health Institutions have made the situation more critical due to which the general public is suffering badly”, the order of DC reads.
The order further reads that time and again the office of Deputy Commissioner issued strict instructions to all the District and Sectoral Officers to perform their legitimate duties sincerely and with full dedication so that the general masses may not suffer of their no fault and issue similar directions to their sub ordinate working under their administrative control.However, in the backdrop of the above facts, the afore officials are hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect and BMO Chatroo will hold the additional charge of BMO Dacchan in addition to his own duties till further orders.
