World Ballet Day: Sonam Kapoor’s throwback photo from Mausam shows that her love for dancing is ‘unparalleled’

Sonam Kapoor has always indulged herself in various challenges and loves celebrating important days in her life. Being one of those happy-go-lucky celebrities, Sonam has proved through her social media handles that she makes every move to celebrate people, special dates and moments in her life. Recently, the actress shared a throwback picture from her 2011 film Mausam.

The shared a scene from the film where she was seen practising Ballet in an art school. To commemorate World Ballet Day, Sonam showed us a glimpse from the past where she wore a black top and her ballerina outfit. In the film, Sonam acted as a Kashmiri girl who fell in love with a Punjabi boy Harinder which was played by Shahid Kapoor. The movie was directed by Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapoor.

World Ballet Day was celebrated ever since October 2014 and this year it was internationally celebrated on October 2. Ballet is an exquisite dance form which is a performing art that originated during the Italian Renaissance in the 1400s and then became a full-fledged dance form in Russia and France.
