While different stories of soldiers and army men are doing rounds on the internet, here is something that says a different story. At the time when there’s an ongoing mini-battle on social media, pitching army’s good and bad works here comes up a video which portrays the heroics of our soldiers differently altogether. According to a tweet, the video is of Indian soldiers returning home after serving their duty as United Nations (UN) Peacekeeping Force. The short clip shows the Sikh troops being welcomed at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi at wee hours.
The video sees the passengers, crew members, and airport staff welcoming the soldiers with all their hearts. It also shows how the smiling faces of the soldiers, out of which, one soldier is also seen recording the warm applause, of what could a moment of his lifetime to cherish. India has been the largest troop contributor to UN peacekeeping missions since its inception. India has taken part in over 40 of such UN missions with a total contribution exceeding over 150,000+ troops and a large number of personnel having been deployed in these missions. JAI HIND
